Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 22, 2026
HusbandOS is designed to help users remember tasks, notes, dates, preferences, lists, and other relationship-related information. We understand that the information saved in the app may be personal, so the app is designed to keep that information private and under the user’s control.
This Privacy Policy explains what information HusbandOS collects, how that information is used, and what choices users have.
1. Information You Save in the App
HusbandOS allows users to save information such as reminders, tasks, notes, lists, important dates, preferences, sizes, gift ideas, recurring tasks, and other relationship-related details.
This information is stored locally on the user’s device.
We do not operate a backend database for this app content. We do not access, read, monitor, sell, or share the personal content users save inside HusbandOS.
2. Accounts
HusbandOS does not require users to create an account.
Because there is no account system, we do not collect login credentials, usernames, passwords, or profile information.
3. Local Storage
Most app data is stored directly on the user’s device. This means the user’s saved reminders, notes, lists, and relationship details remain on that device unless the user deletes them, removes the app, or uses device-level backup or transfer features provided by Apple.
Users are responsible for managing their own device security, including passcodes, Face ID, Touch ID, iCloud settings, and device backups.
4. Notifications
HusbandOS may use local notifications to remind users about saved tasks, recurring items, important dates, or other reminders created by the user.
These notifications are scheduled on the user’s device. HusbandOS does not use remote push notifications to send marketing messages or externally triggered alerts.
Users can enable or disable notifications at any time through iOS Settings.
5. Support and Feedback Emails
If a user contacts us for support, feedback, questions, bug reports, or feature requests, we may receive the user’s email address and the contents of their message.
We use this information only to respond to the user, provide support, understand reported issues, and improve HusbandOS.
Users should avoid sending sensitive personal information by email unless they are comfortable doing so.
6. App Store, Purchases, and Apple Services
HusbandOS is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may process certain information related to app downloads, purchases, refunds, subscriptions, crash reports, diagnostics, analytics, and device usage according to Apple’s own privacy policies and user settings.
If HusbandOS offers paid features, trials, subscriptions, or lifetime purchases, payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not receive or store users’ full payment card details.
7. Analytics and Crash Data
At launch, HusbandOS does not use a custom backend analytics system to read or track the personal content users save in the app.
Apple may provide developers with aggregated analytics, crash reports, performance data, and diagnostic information through App Store Connect or related Apple developer tools, depending on the user’s device settings.
This information is used to understand app performance, fix bugs, and improve the user experience. It does not allow us to read the private reminders, notes, lists, or relationship details saved inside the app.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell user data.
We do not share personal content saved inside HusbandOS with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party marketing companies.
We may disclose information only if required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
9. Data Deletion
Users can delete saved information inside the app where deletion options are available.
Users can also delete HusbandOS from their device to remove app data stored locally on that device.
Some information, such as purchase history, download records, or support emails, may remain with Apple or in our email records according to those services’ own retention practices.
10. Children’s Privacy
HusbandOS is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
11. Security
We design HusbandOS with privacy in mind and aim to minimize the amount of data collected outside the user’s device.
However, no app, device, email system, or internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should take appropriate steps to protect their devices and accounts.
12. International Users
HusbandOS may be used by people in different countries. By using the app or contacting us, users understand that support communications may be processed in the country where we operate or where our service providers operate.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the Effective Date above.
Continued use of HusbandOS after changes are posted means the user accepts the updated Privacy Policy.
